This album brings together all my recordings since the 2020 lockdown. All were recorded at home, with the cooperation of other artists to whom I am very grateful for their help. Many of the songs have been in my life since the late 1960's and have followed me in many different guises and interpretations over the years. Folk song and the artists performing it have changed over the years,But these songs retain their magic It is only in the past five years or so that I have become more aware of the dark and often ancient origins of some these beautiful songs.I hope I have added something to them with these arrangements

My main instrument is the Renaissance Lute. But I also have a lifelong interest in Folk ballads of the British Isles. I have begun to record my favourite ones. I have worked with many other singers and poets producing songs and Soundscapes.
